National Honor Society


BHS Student Council and BHS National Honor Society would like to announce our Annual Canned Food Drive:

November 18th through December 13th.
Students will be encouraged to bring cans to their 3rd period teacher.  The 3rd period that brings the most cans will receive a donut party.  The winning teacher will also receive an extra conference period on the day of their choice.
The cans will be donated to Helping Hands and Living Waters of Borger.


Total Food Drive amounts collected by campus: BHS:  541 Cans, BMS:  6,000 Cans, Gateway: 2,751, Crockett:  1, 450, Paul Belton:  1,000.  Way to go Bulldogs!!


National Honor Society (NHS) is an organization devoted to acknowledging high school students who have excelled in four characteristics during their high school years. These four characteristics are Leadership, Service, Character, and Scholarship. NHS members make every effort to work for the betterment of their community.

As part of the National Honor Society service projects, the BHS NHS members organize and participate in a trash pickup to keep the BHS Campus looking great.
